These Terms and Conditions govern your use of NVT Language Translations and Legal Research LLC's website and services. By engaging NVT, you agree to these terms.
NVT provides Spanish-English translation, interpretation, and paralegal document support services. All services are subject to a signed Client Engagement Agreement prior to commencement of work.
NVT Language Translations and Legal Research LLC is NOT a law firm. Karen Alvarez is NOT a licensed attorney in New Jersey or any other jurisdiction. Nothing provided by NVT constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or the practice of law. No attorney-client relationship is created by engaging NVT's services. Clients are strongly encouraged to consult a licensed NJ attorney before signing any legal documents or proceeding with any legal matter.
Fees are as agreed upon in the Client Engagement Agreement. A non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. Remaining balances are due upon delivery of completed work. NVT reserves the right to withhold delivery of completed translations until payment is received in full.
NVT's liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. NVT is not liable for rejection of translations by courts, agencies, or other parties, or for any legal outcome of the client's underlying matter.
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns the completed translation. NVT retains no rights to client documents or translations.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes shall be resolved in Essex County, New Jersey.
